Baby Isabella

This session was so nice to photograph,

Isabella was so alert for a newborn baby & so content to be photographed.

She has so much personality for a young child, it was lovely to see.

Discovering

While out on a night shoot I had some time to look back on the past few months & I realised I had forgotten something that I was taught late last year. What I learnt was when you feel fear in whatever you are doing, feel the fear but do it anyway ! Sometimes unconsciously I hold myself back from doing what I really want to be doing or breaking threw that comfort zone because of fear. 

Fear of being judged or not being accepted can really hold you back if you allow it to have power over you. What if we never had the word mistake, & all experiences we had were just left as they are. Not labelled. I believe more people would follow there dreams & not care so much about those small so called mistakes that we have to make to get us to where ever we are going.

Today I feel grateful for where I am right now.

Angela, Tyler & myself have just moved into our new home & we are expecting a new arrival early next year. Tyler is saying he would like a baby brother but I'm sure he will be happy with whatever we are given.

I am glad I'm not a writer, 

because every time I start to blog I get so stuck trying to articulate everything that I am feeling. I genuinely get overwhelmed & can't seem to put it into words, frustrating at times, but also a very nice feeling to be experiencing situations & meeting people that impact me in such a positive way.  

I hope that I am giving as much to the people I meet as they are giving to me. 

For an image session I ask my clients to just be themselves, because that is all I want to photograph. I believe at our very being we are incredible & to me nothing could be more artistic than to photograph someone at a moment when they feel completely comfortable to just be themselves.
